Mint curates an innovative exhibition dedicated to an unconventional approach to design with a main focus on respecting nature and minimising the human impact on the environment. Featuring over 60 established designers and new talents selected globally for their ability to cross boundaries in pursuit of “Considerate Design”.

In addition, for this year’s Brompton Design District theme Nature/Nurture Mint presents a Raw twist on sustainability and circular design.

Micaella Pedros is a social and humanitarian designer based in London. She is inspired by the values of democratic design and do-it-yourself culture. Through her work, the designer seeks to contribute to society by unveiling ways to play and benefit from local resources and natural forces in order to empower people. ‘Joining Bottles’ is an experimental joining technique using plastic bottles.

It’s been a busy month for Mint in the press, featuring in ELLE Decoration, Homes & Garden, House & Garden, and Vogue Living Netherlands.

This month Mint has received a big feature in ELLE Decoration to mark their 30th anniversary. The piece includes around 40 of the UK’s most significant design names from the past 30 years and Lina Kanafani is honoured to be on the list alongside such revered choices.

Mint is honoured to be included in the 100th anniversary issue of Homes & Gardens magazine. This special century issue features the best of British design and Mint is selected as one-off store for design with a difference.

Mosaic | 17th May – 1st July 2019

Mint starts the summer with a bright show ‘Mosaic’ presenting over 30 designers. Internationally recognised designers such as Piet Hein Eek, Dirk van der Kooij and Established & Sons exhibited alongside new talent, carefully selected for their sustainable and inventive approach to craft and design. The exhibition will give an overview of a varied collection that explores innovative material choices with outstanding results.

Collect was a success!

We were thrilled to be part of this year’s Collect and we wanted to thank all our visitors for joining us.

We were delighted to exhibit a selection of contemporary collectible objects pushing the boundaries of craft and design. Our display proved one of the highlights of the fair, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from visitors.
